We met Mary Kay McLeod at a local festival about year ago. After trying our product, she asked to be added to our mailing list. Fast forward to this December, when Mary Kay received our holiday catalog in her mailbox. Already several months pregnant, Mary Kay couldn’t think of a more perfect gift to add to her wish list. This expectant mom dropped hints left and right for her dear husband, but apparently, he didn’t act on his wife’s desire for bon bons. Christmas came and went with nary a taste of our sublime chocolates for sweet Mary Kay. As she sat around the house last week (only 3 days before her due date), happily waiting for her first baby to arrive, Mary Kay decided to take matters into her own hands. She drove over to South ‘n France and bought herself an 8-piece box of bon bons. I mean, if a girl has to sit around waiting to go into labor, she might as well have some bon bons nearby – don’t you agree? 

Well, it seems that those little chocolate bon bons did the trick.  The baby got a taste of how sweet it can be out here in the world and Mary went into labor the very next day! She just sent us this adorable photo of our newest customer, Drew McLeod. Here’s what Mary had to say: "Hi there! I was the pregnant woman who stopped by for some bon bons last Wednesday. Just wanted to let you know that we had our baby boy, Drew, the very next day! Good thing I fulfilled my chocolate craving in time!! Doesn’t he look like a very satisfied customer?"

Congratulations, Mary Kay, and welcome to the world, Drew! Husbands take note:  If your wife has a little bon bon in the oven, call us — now!
